That’s the Peace Tower. I used to take walks around Parliament Hill. Sometimes quite early. As you can see, this photo was taken a little after 7 am. The clock chimes on the hour.

They used to have a tour that took people up to the top of the tower. I’ve never been up there and now that there’s construction going on, I’ve missed my chance for at least a few years.

I don’t get up before 7 anymore and I don’t take walks in the morning. It would be a nice habit to renew, though. The walking part, at least. I don’t think I could handle the early morning very well.
